I should be working on my Bio but I was compelled to write this short Blog to you. Whomever reads it, I hope it is God speaking to you. I am once again at another cross road in my life. It seems they are forever with me. I have an important decision to make and have waffled to and fro, so many directions that it would make me depressed. It was also keeping me from doing anything constructive about anything and as some of you already know Larry's passing also paralyzed me with grief. Go in general I was a mess. You noticed, I said, was a mess, I am not quite the mess that I was.
Like all of us we do have choices, even if we think we are in a corner, all boxed in, we still have choices. The key is to find the choices, recognize them, pray about them and then watch and listen. We always have a "back door" but sometimes fear keeps us from acting.
If you don't like what is going on in your life, first you must be willing to change it. Sometimes the thought of this alone is frightening. It also takes work---weather you are changing your attitude, job, partners, moving, health habits, improving your appearance, opening yourself to new relationships---well you get the idea. None of this is easy. But, there is an answer to this dilemma. God. Now keep reading. Don't fade away from me now. Prayer is a powerful tool for strength. Because you are talking to someone that loves you, no matter what and is just waiting for you to ask for help.
In private, talking out loud to our loving Father, alone is cleansing and freeing. It is safe to vent to Him because He completely understands what you are talking about, understands you and your needs. And He loves you. He will not judge you, think you are crazy, think you are silly or anything else negative. He awaits your prayer.
Now getting back to your choices---if you want to change something in your life, only you can make these changes, don't except other peoples to change, YOU, ARE THE ONE THAT MUST "CHANGE THE DANCE" or things will not ever change, so you might as swell accept it and stop complaining. BUT, if you want change, then ACT, pray without stopping for your answers.
My choices are many and the entire situation is complex, but I kept praying and I believe I have some very clear answers and direction. Many things have to fall into place but at least I know what I would like to happen and I believe it is okay with my heavenly Father that I pursue this outcome. My confusion was so bad that last night I dreamed about this whole thing and told one of the people in my dream that I was going to do something, I just didn't know what. How vague is that. I woke up praying, truly. Then I made a pro and con list and that is always a good thing. Then I prayed some more. I got that icky lonely feeling again, that I hate but get from time to time. So I decided to see if I could find an old friend on the web and call them. Well, let me tell you, God was looking over my shoulder. My friends, if you have not ever acknowledge Gods intervention in your life, I feel sorry for you. Because, He certainly did that for me today. God works through people, places and things, and He out did Himself today. The conversation gave me so many answers and direction and I am grateful. As I said, many things have to fall into place BUT one of the biggest questions, I HAVE ANSWERED, and I know it came directly from God, because I ask Him that very question, this morning.
So, my dear friends, God is waiting for your question, waiting to help you and He does have the answer and God is the answer. GOD'S BLESSINGS, RM

HEARTACHE---GRIEF---HEALING
In this period of grief and mourning, I am hurting so deeply inside, that I dare not allow myself to think to long at a time about Larry being gone. I miss him so very much that I barely can stand it. I don't dare let myself think about him to long. My Mother use to say that my Dad loved to hard, I am my Father's daughter.
In time past it was proper to be in a period of mourning, wife's worn black for a year, didn't go out to social events for a proper period of time and their lose was respected by others as tragic. A persons lose of a loved one, husband, child, or family member was shared by others, again by respect shown to them.
Today, a person is expected to go back to work the day after the funeral, act as if nothing had occurred the previous day and the loved one lost, since not among us, should be forgotten. This is how I was treated and I am sure, if my Blog reach the masses, many, many people would share my experience. I am a thinking human being, and aware of changing times but respecting the dead, I believe, is important to our Heavenly Father, as the Creator of all of us and of those that have passed.
I have heard so often that the loved one has gone on to a better place, they are no longer suffering---this does not help in my grief at all and not welcome to hear. I don't ever tell a person this or that in time it gets better and the pain goes away. I am sorry, but that to me, belittles what a person is feeling, that has just lost their loved one. And we never know what someone else is feeling. Better to say, "I am sorry" and put your arms around them. The warmth of another person does more to heal than any words we can say.
Today, I realized that when I am gone, there will not be anyone that grieves for me. That was a stark realization and yet I have a home and a job. But, how many people in the World are alone and go unnoticed. Their passing from this Earth, is as a leaf in the wind, drifting silently away. I feel their pain of loneliness. If each of us just touched but one life, none would be alone.
We have God's promise of life-here-after, however, I believe He meant us to live life to the fullest and to live each day of our lives thinking about living not dieing !!!!! If God wanted only to have heaven and have us with Him, then that is what He would have done. But He gave us life---LIFE, to live not think about death. I want to live, Larry fought to live, to be happy that he is dead, is I believe, to belittle his fight for life. As was with my Father, he did everything the doctor's said that he may live. Why bother ever to go to the doctor or take any type of treatments if we are to look forward to death.
I believe, God wants us to live, be happy and prosper. He just doesn't want us to be afraid of the end because He will be with us. The "last time" of anything is sad---the end of a good movie, the end of a party, the end of the Holidays, the end of a vacation, the end of a good day, even the end of the "Birthday Cake".
The end of ones life should mean more, don't you think? The "last time", you will ever see that person, or talk to them ever again, in the living way, is heartbreaking to me. The "last time" we experience anything is saddening---so feel your grief, your lose, healing will come at its own pace and yours, don't allow anyone to tell you, differently and turn to God.
One of my favorite movies is "Its a Wonderful Life", it is because it so plainly tells how important each life is to each of us. Value your life, make each day count, never give up your dream, keep fighting for your life, throw out your nets and God will fill them. Take heart, God does love all of us and is with us every heart beat. He knows how many hair we have on our heads. Ask for the Holy Spirit to fill you, and believe you are safe in God's arms.
I am only surviving through my grief of lose because of God's love for me and the knowledge that He understands my pain, even if the World does not. He alone can help me heal and give me hope for a better tomorrow. The reassurance that God is with me, helps heal my wounded heart.
Give your cares to God, lay them at His feet and know with out a doubt, He cries with you, cares about you and is listening to your every prayer to Him for help.
MAY GOD BLESS US ALL WITH HIS UNDERSTANDING, COMPASSION, AND LOVE,

LARRY'S SONG
A giving and loving spirit has left this world, his name was Larry. A bright light has gone out and left us in the dark and cold. Just when we think we can't see or feel, we are so numb from the pain. Larry reaches down and lifts us up. He speaks softly and lovingly to us, to help mend our broken hearts. We hear the words, he speaks to us.
It is a song that I have heard a hundred times and yet this time it means something. "Summer, Fall, Winter or Spring, All you have to do is call, just call my name, and I'll be there, You've got a friend." I broke down in tears---hot, painful tears. Larry was near to me, speaking to me, wanting to comfort me, Larry wanted me to know he was watching over me.
When a loved one passes away, we are in such muck and mire that it is hard to function at any level, we know there are 5 stages to grieving but don't care. We have pain and people are telling us, it gets better. Not really. We just become more numb to the pain but our loved ones have left a whole in our hearts. We don't ever stop missing them---their voice and the way they said our name, their smile, and their zest for life. Everyone is poorer for their absence among us. They have left their mark on us all.
DEATH is horrible. It robs us of a part of us, even if it isn't us, that passes away. I am a believer, of our Savior, Jesus Christ but death is still difficult for the ones that are left behind. The pain, loneliness, despair of never seeing or ever talking to your loved ones again---is heart breaking.
Author, Silvia Brown, says our loved ones come to us in different ways, to comfort us and let us know that they are watching over us. I have always believed this. My Mother, comes to me in spirit and touches my heart. Her special way is with the Cardinal, her favorite bird. Without a doubt, when I see a Cardinal, I know my Mother is around. Just as I knew for sure, Larry was around, when I heard the song, "You've Got a Friend."
When you experience the death of a loved one or have already lost a loved one, be in tuned with things around you. In the littlest way, they may be trying to tell you, " I am here with you and I love you."
I am still not very coherent, so forgive me for not being more eloquent but my heart is in the right place. Change is needed for our growth. Even if it comes in the nature of death. Many times, in order to survive we have to start a change process. I did this after my Aunt Jackie's death, Larry's Mother, just a year ago. We sometimes need to get rid of old memories, habits and other past traditions. Only freed from past burdens, can we take advantage of the present.
I will admit that I am always stuck in the stage of "denial" and find comfort in past memories. I know my loved ones are gone but can't think about their lose. I would rather just think that they are living their life as normal. I have always embraced change and like it, but not the death of my loved ones.
So, take heart, do your best to accept what happens but don't allow anyone to belittle your grief, it is yours, only you knows how it feels. Talk to your loved ones and allow them to comfort you. They are in Heaven but still with us.
The Bald Eagle, to avoid the rain flies above the clouds, is it any wonder that God wants us to spread our wings and soar with the Eagles.
Larry is in Heaven with the wings of the Eagle. I know your loved ones are there also, with all of my loved ones as well---this knowledge, our only comfort in their passing.

JESUS LAST HOURS
WERE YOU THERE?
Were you there, when they crucified my Lord,
Were you there, when they nailed Him to the tree,
Were you there, when they pierced Him in the side,
Were you there, when they laid Him in the tomb,
Oh,
Sometimes it causes me to tremble, tremble, tremble,
WERE YOU THERE?
Read Jesus story of His last hours with God's Great Blessings,
John 18:1-19:42
"Rejoice in the Lord always, I will say it again: Rejoice! The Lord is near."
Philippians 4:4-5
"Where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them"
Matthew 18:20
"Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you. So we say with confidence, the Lord is my helper;
I will not be afraid...."
Hebrews 13:5b-6a
PEACE
"PEACE I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
John 14:27

CHURCH OR NO CHURCH
As I was looking out my kitchen window this morning, at the new beauty of Spring, I thought of our Father, the Creator of all that we see. The wonder of everything, and as always, I could not imagine my life without my faith. I could not survive a half a heart beat without it. I am not strong enough or good enough to go it alone. Which leads me to our question of the day, church or no church. I know I am tilting at windmills, with this subject, however I must.
It is a very serious subject and one the world, but I rather believe, the United States is more in danger of dismissing. Why dismissing, because we think of ourselves so powerful and wealthy that Church is no longer needed as a Nation to be great. Yet our "Founding Fathers" thought it was most important. But this morning I am not addressing the Nations belief or its political position, I am talking about our personal belief.
Let me say straight up, I am a Church person. And I have gone to and belong to many, many Churches. I am comfortable in all of them, because I just love Church. My Aunt use to say of me that even as a little girl, it was Church first, then the Easter Egg hunt. That was the greatest complement that she could ever pay me.
But, for all of you naysayers, no, I am not advocating one particular Church. On the contrary, to me, it doesn't matter which Church a person goes to. It is being with a body of believers, a gathering in the Lord's name, of sharing ones knowledge, joy, sorrows, and learning about the greatness and mercy of our Lord our God and His love for us. It is also the support as much as the experience that is so important.
A new buzz word, that I almost choke, as I say it, in retail today, is "they" want their customers to have a pleasant "shopping experience". Of course "they" do, the longer you are there, the more money that you will spend. My point being, your "Church experience" is free.
What a person receives from gathering with other believers is so great and good, one can't imagine, unless you have been there. The feeling that you have as you step outside, renewed and refreshed, is wonderful. And the Church members are your extended family, the Leader, is the voice of the Word, (the Bible, God the Father, Jesus, the Lord, the Holy Trinity). Even if nothing that you are going through, is any different, when you leave that Church, I guarantee, the experience, will give you new hope and straight to carry on. And the time spent in that Church will be peaceful, calming, and for that short time all else is forgotten. The real and sometimes harsh world, will be waiting outside the door but you will be better equipped to handle it, again, I guarantee.
Another point that is so sad, is we, as a nation, are raising generations of non-churched children. Taking for granted that these children will never need the help or strength of God's presence. This is not only selfish but so unkind to ones own children. My Mother and Father went to Church as young people, but not as adults; however, they always sent me to Church. They were sweet and old fashion believers. My Dad, was so sentimental, but quiet about his faith, but you knew it was there. And I remember always saying my prayers with my Mom, at bedtime. I give them so much credit for giving me this foundation because I have certainly needed it, through out my life. Whatever, has happened in an adults life should not keep them from giving their children the opportunity to know our heavenly Father. So much separates us from God in this World today, don't let it be you.
I have known so many people that have been raised in Church by their parents, then something separates them from the Church; divorce, moving, despair (just when you need it the most), jobs, so many reason, and never go back. Sometimes they think they are not worthy to go to Church, that is so sad. We all have gifts to give to the world, as pointed out Sunday, but we need to be reminded of how important we are to God and His plan. God opens His arms to everyone. Just open the Bible in the New Testament, at any place and you will read of God's great love for us. He gave His only Son for us, what more could a Father do!!! I have heard people say, "I am divorced, I can't go to Church, of course you can. There is a Church family out there for you, no questions ask, just that you need God's love, understanding and are willing to listen. God takes broken souls and mends them as perfectly as a fine Tailor.
I could go on and on and have, but one last point. Many people have said to me over the years, "I don't need to go to Church, it is only a building." Well yes, it is only a building, but it is the House of the Lord. Look at it as visiting a friend or family; you are always welcome, always a shoulder to cry on, always an encouraging word and always a sweet lesson to be learned. What more could a person want from a friend. And please please, always remember the song, "Oh, what a friend we have in Jesus".
God's Blessings to you always and Joy in abundance, RM

THE CRUCIFIXION
They placed the cross upon His back
Yet, no one seemed to care
The weight across His shoulders
Seemed more than He could bear.
The spikes were driven in His hands
And pounded through His feet
The ones who had convicted Him
Were cheering in the street
The crown of thorns placed on His head
Brought blood upon His brow
The day of prophecy had come
He had to face it now.
The sins of man were laid to rest
He bore a heavy loss
The agony He must have felt
As He hung there on the cross.
The innocent blood of Jesus Christ
Was shed for all to see
The Son of God was Crucified
And died for you and me.

WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE!!!!!!!!!!!
What difference does it make, indeed --- a great deal. Are you Happy? Are you content? Are you doing what you would like to do? Do you live where you would like to live?
For all the romantics reading this, loose yourself in the movie, "UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN" and you can see what a person can do if they are brave enough. If I were younger I would be in Italy, Tuscany. I have done this in America, picked up and moved, 9 times in 10 years, had 15 different homes and lots of apartments. I would live the "dream" of discovery. The feeling of driving down a strange street or shopping in a different market. Being somewhere no ones knows you or being where you know no one. THE ADVENTURE. In this way, I have been brave all my life. And would not have had it any other way.
We live but once as we understand, unless you believe in reincarnation. and so we are given this life to LIVE. I am such a dreamer, I have been my whole life, even at my age, I am still a dreamer and looking forward to that new adventure. I wish for you, with all my heart that you don't loose your dream. It doesn't matter what your dream, "no molli" (doesn't matter) Just dream. Some times a terrible idea, is just a baby dream, not yet having a form or destiny.
And yes, destiny. Do we make our own destiny. We do, if we are brave and don't settle for something less than what we would like. And there is a very important ingredient, and that is FAITH.
FAITH that God does have a plan for each of us and not to settle for less. For those that won't watch the movie, there was a short story told about there being train tracks built through the Alps before a train was built to make the trip, that was faith. It comes in all forms.
Don't give up on love, your goals, your secret desires, don't go through life being afraid and still wanting things. GET OUT, DO THINGS, REACH FOR THE STARS, REGRETS ARE A WASTE OF TIME.
Don'/t go through life with a list of "if only" this or "if only" that. Waste of time. Find your Tuscany. Find your destiny. Look for your personal "sceeno" (sign). And go forward, chase that dream forever.
You may come across something but "once in a life time" that you will remember the rest of your life, grab it, don't let go, and have FAITH.
If you would like more prove that dreams come true and we can follow our destiny while destiny helps us with our true destiny, watch the movie, "ONLY YOU".
Gather courage, be brave, step out of your comfort zone, chase that dream until you catch it and you might just find yourself in a field of golden sunflowers and a wealth of ladybugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DREAM, DREAM, DREAM,
REACH OUT, LOOK FORWARD, LIVE, & LOVE,
Until later After midnight, Blessings, RM
Stuff Rolls Down the Hill
Christmas is over but an incident happened at work the other day that compelled me to write these thoughts. The incident was petty and in the scheme of life not important. But it reminded me of Scrooge. He had to be ever powerful in his clerks life and threatened that if his clerk not always mindful, "he could lose his position". However, even Scrooge admitted to one of his visiting angels, that his first employer could make his life happy or unhappy. Yet, Scrooge forgot this lesson in kindness. ( I have a great love for the movie, Scrooge and its lessons, as well as the movie, "Its a Wonderful Live", both should be required watching for all people).
In today's world so often our employers have our lives in their hands or it seems so. We can't change our employers or their personalities. It is unfortunate that our employers don't understand really how easy it is to make our life happier at work, some don't care, some just don't get it, others really get pleasure in being superior to others.
But, if you take your "bad" day home with you, then you are giving them power over your whole life, not just your work day. Believe me, I know it is not easy. I have awakened in the middle of the night thinking about something that has happened at work. That is why I am sharing these thoughts. We can not let this "stuff roll down the hill" in our life, to our friends, our loved ones, to anyone. We have to be better!!!!!!!!!!!
I heard this little story which I will pass on to you. Two men were coming home from work, and one of the men ask the other to come home for dinner with his family. They both had had a really terrible day at work. He agreed gratefully. When they arrived home before they went into the house, the one man went over to a large tree by the door and patted the tree. The other man thought it strange but didn't say anything. The man of the house introduced his wife and children to his friend and all had a wonderful meal. They laughed and had a very pleasant evening. When the friend had to leave, he had to ask just what had happened. His friend knew just what he meant. He went on to tell his friend that a long time ago he used to bring home his troubles and made everyone feel miserable. Then one day he heard about the "trouble tree". "What", his friend ask? "I know you saw me pat that old Oak tree before we went into the house, well that is my "trouble tree". I hang all my troubles from the day on that old tree, to hold until the next day. You would be surprised but most of the time, I don't even think to pick them up in the morning. But my family is always happy to see me and we always have a good evening." His friend went away with new respect for this man and new thoughts for himself.
Again, I know this isn't easy and we do have to share things with our loved ones, that's what makes a family. But there is a time and place. And more important, our attitude toward our loved ones. They don't deserve our wrath from our "bad" day. So don't let "stuff roll down the hill", even to the family pet. Find your "trouble tree" and hang them on you tree. Those of you that are employers, be kind and human, and you might find you get much further and for more loyalty from your grateful employees.
MAY GOD BLESS YOU WITH YOUR DREAM,

Welcome to my World
**********My hope is that my thoughts will give you new ideas and encouragement to follow whatever dreams or goals that you may have.. I have not added to my blog since I started it because of time not that I didn't have anything to say. Just try and find a writer that does not have anything to say, not a chance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have many thoughts and purposed questions for you to ponder that will follow. My first will be an age old question, "IF ONLY", I have so many. By sharing mine, my blessing to you will be perhaps, help in not having as many "IF ONLY" as me.
So, some moon lite, midnight soon, I will be recalling those "IF ONLY" prose for you.
Until later, After Midnight, RM
